Nestled in the heart of Brooklyn at 80 Henry St, Fascati Pizzeria is a beloved local spot serving up classic New York-style pizza that’s as comforting as it is crave-worthy. Specializing in traditional Neapolitan-inspired slices, this no-frills pizzeria focuses on delivering simple yet deeply satisfying flavors with each pie.
The menu at Fascati Pizzeria is delightfully straightforward, featuring crowd-pleasers like the iconic Pepperoni Pizza and a generously cheesy Cheese Pizza Slice that strikes the perfect balance between rich mozzarella and a subtly tangy tomato sauce. For those who like to mix things up, the Half Cheese Half Topping option allows you to savor variety in one slice, while the White Pizza Slice offers a luscious, creamy alternative without sauce. Don’t overlook their Manhattan Special—a hearty slice that captures the robust essence of classic Brooklyn pizza culture.
Beyond pizza, Fascati rounds out its menu with comfort-driven Italian favorites like their cheesy, savory Lasagne, and an array of satisfying Calzones and Rolls that include options such as the Spinach Calzone and the meaty Sausage Roll. The Hot Heroes are another standout, with flavorful choices like the Meatball Parmigiana and Sausage & Pepper hero sandwiches that pack a punch of hearty goodness.
What truly sets Fascati apart is the texture of their pizza crust. As one patron vividly described, the base is “almost like fried toast,” boasting a crispy exterior while still preserving that pillowy, doughy tenderness inside. This unique crust creates a perfect canvas that holds the flavorful, though sometimes understated, sauce and toppings perfectly. It’s this textural harmony that keeps customers coming back for more — whether it’s a quick, satisfying lunch or a casual family dinner.
The atmosphere at Fascati Pizzeria is relaxed and inviting, very much in line with a classic Brooklyn pizza joint. The walk-up window adds a nostalgic touch, making it easy to grab a slice on the go without sacrificing quality or taste. The value is undeniable too — with slices averaging around $3 to $4, it’s an affordable indulgence that doesn’t scrimp on flavor or portion. One satisfied customer marveled at the “near flawless regular slice,” giving props to the perfectly balanced sauce and dough combination.
While this isn’t the place for trendy, artisanal toppings, Fascati embraces its role as a staple of traditional NYC pizza culture, delivering “crazy good pizza” that’s ideal for anyone seeking authentic, no-nonsense slices. The pizzeria’s recent acceptance of credit cards only adds to the convenience and accessibility of this neighborhood gem.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Brooklyn, Fascati Pizzeria promises a genuine, flavor-packed pizza experience that captures the essence of classic New York comfort food. It leaves you feeling nostalgic yet delighted, with an urge to return again and again for that perfect crispy, cheesy bite.
Oh my goodness! Crazy good pizza! We visited Fascati Pizzeria with my family and it was amazing. Their pizza slices are delicious and huge. I ordered two pepperoni slices and a drink. Wow, what a place. You have got to visit Fascati’s if you are in Brooklyn.
If you like a crispy slice then look no further! Great low-key little place serving some really solid pizza. I’d give it 8/10. The base is just special. It’s almost like fried toast in its texture but still keeps that fresh doughy flavour. The topping and sauce is a little forgettable but sprinkle it up with plenty of added seasoning and enjoy that crisp!
The cheese pizza was incredibly tasty, and the chicken Caesar salad was just as delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in town
A limited selection, pretty much just plain pizza and some toppings. Fascati makes a near flawless regular slice. $3 and no flop at all. The dough is perfect, as well as the sauce. The sauce is flavorful, not too sweet. The cheese tasted a bit weird at first but I think it may have been a fluke. Overall, this pizza is wonderful.
$4 slices (at the time of writing) with a walk up window. Sure, if you’re looking for a fancy brick oven pizza with trendy toppings — this ain’t it, but for a quick and dirty greasy NYC pizza this is a good option. Oh and they also now accept credit card. Lot of old reviews mention them not doing that.
Some Of the best pizza in Brooklyn! I used to eat lunch and dinner here several times a week years ago. I miss this place. You can't go wrong with a true NY style pizza and pepperoni is the best. I Love Fascati's, it was a large part of my life as a young man in Brooklyn. Buy their pizza!
Worth the carbs, every time The crust was perfectly crisp, the cheese was melty and the sauce had just the right amount of tang. I tried the cheese pizza and it had great flavor with a little kick. Super satisfying—definitely coming back for another slice!
Really good classic nyc style pizza. I got the cheapest slice which was the non Sicilian one, and it’s the one that’s flat and crisp. It was good and not too oily. I got two and it was very filling. I’d go there early because they ran out of the Sicilian, so they must run out of the popular slices when it gets late
